Mastering a second language for professional purposes is not just about conjugating verbs correctly.

It's not only about having a good accent either, but also involves understanding and adapting to the culture of the language.  Therefore, expanding and knowing how to use the appropriate vocabulary in a work environment is as important as acquiring cultural skills derived from the language itself. This will help you work more effectively and open up new professional opportunities. These language courses have two main focuses: your professional field and your communicative skills in the language being learned. They offer the chance to network with other professionals and expand your international circle. These courses require an intermediate to high level and are perfect for professionals who don't have much free time and are looking for quick results without sacrificing quality.

English Courses for Teachers

There are two types of courses: for non-native English teachers and for university professors who are non-native speakers but use English as the language of instruction.

For non-native English teachers, CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is a practical and structured introduction to teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). By completing and passing the final exams, you will earn the CELTA qualification, gaining the knowledge, experience, and confidence to work as an English teacher anywhere in the world. This course is in-person and intensive and can last for 2 months, but since 2020 the CELTA course is also available online.

For university professors, if you need to teach in English as part of your daily job, for example, as part of a study program taught in English, then this course will allow you to develop your English skills in an academic context. The aim of this course is to develop your vocabulary and oral expression skills to help make your classes more efficient and effective. These courses are short, intensive, and can be done both virtually and in-person.

At the end of the course, you can expect to:

  • Be able to teach with more confidence.
  • Communicate more effectively and fluently in various academic contexts.
  • Interact easily with international students.
  • Expand your range of professional vocabulary.
  • Interact more confidently with other international teachers.
