COMMON QUESTIONS

How much does the service cost?
Faq IconFaq Icon

Many students access our services through schools, universities or partner institutions that collaborate with Academic Action. In these cases, there is typically no cost to the student or family. Additional personalised support services may be available depending on individual circumstances and requirements.

When should I start the process?
Faq IconFaq Icon

We recommend starting as early as possible, ideally 12–24 months before university entry. This allows sufficient time for university research, subject selection, applications and preparation.

What is the first step?
Faq IconFaq Icon

The first step is simply having a conversation with us. We take the time to understand the student's interests, aspirations and circumstances before discussing potential universities, programmes and opportunities.

Do you only support students applying to the UK?
Faq IconFaq Icon

Our primary focus is the United Kingdom, where we have extensive experience and institutional knowledge. However, some international opportunities may also be explored depending on the student's goals.

Do I need to know which university I want to apply to before contacting Academic Action?
Faq IconFaq Icon

No. Many students contact us before they have identified a university or degree. Part of our role is helping students explore suitable options and make informed decisions.

It's not enough to know how far you want to go,
you must know how to get there.
