Real projects with schools

Built through collaboration, these initiatives reflect our commitment to creating practical and sustainable international opportunities for school communities.

Future Leaders Programme

Developed in partnership with Aberystwyth University, this initiative enables schools to represent their country by nominating high-potential students for an immersive experience focused on leadership, research, sustainability, STEM, entrepreneurship and social development.

Teacher development

We connect schools with leading UK universities and education specialists through CPD programmes, masterclasses and professional learning initiatives. Recent projects include the iPGCE with the University of Sheffield, as well as sessions on artificial intelligence, safeguarding, children's rights, inclusive education and innovative teaching practices.

School partnerships

Across Latin America, from Mexico to Chile, we work alongside schools and IB associations to strengthen international engagement with the UK. Acting as an additional support to schools, our partnerships help create meaningful links between school communities and UK education through professional collaboration, safeguarding awareness and student transition support.

International degree exploration

Through The Fundamentals of Your Dream Degree, Academic Action has developed a student engagement initiative designed to help students explore academic pathways and make more informed higher education decisions. Delivered in collaboration with more than 12 UK institutions, the programme has engaged over 1,543 students from 122 ischools across multiple countries.

Common Questions

How can schools work with Academic Action?
Faq IconFaq Icon

Schools can engage with Academic Action through institutional partnerships, specific projects, international initiatives or specialised UK education support. Every collaboration is adapted to the needs, priorities and international goals of the school.

Is there a cost to become a partner school?
Faq IconFaq Icon

No. Academic Action does not charge schools to become partner institutions. Most activities and support services are offered without cost to schools. Some optional programmes or external activities may involve separate fees depending on their nature and delivery requirements.

Do schools need to be partners to participate in activities?
Faq IconFaq Icon

Not necessarily. Many activities are open to the wider educational community. However, partner schools receive priority access to opportunities, specialised support, institutional updates, selected international initiatives and direct access to the services offered through Academic Action's school partnership programme.

What safeguarding measures does Academic Action have in place when working with students in school environments?
Faq IconFaq Icon

Safeguarding is a core part of Academic Action's work. The organisation follows strict safeguarding, child protection and data protection procedures designed to protect students, families and educational institutions.

Academic Action also takes reasonable steps to verify and review external individuals and organisations participating in school-based activities, including visiting speakers, university representatives and partner organisations, helping ensure that activities are delivered within appropriate safeguarding frameworks and professional standards.

Does Academic Action replace the role of college counsellors?
Faq IconFaq Icon

No. Academic Action is designed to complement and support the work of college counsellors and school leadership teams. The school always maintains ownership of its relationship with students and families.

Bring trusted UK education opportunities closer to your school community.
